Affiliate marketing / network marketing is an amazing Internet-based marketing method used by thousands of bloggers and website owners to make money online. How do you identify the best affiliate program? There's thousands of online marketing affiliate programs to choose from. You will find that the online affiliate programs features and level of support and compensation vary widely.

Consider How the product or service sticks out. Does it stand head and shoulders above the rest? Marketing 'the same old product line' in a saturated market makes your job much more difficult than it should be. You want tons of sales after you generate targeted traffic to your website.

Choose the best affiliate two tier program

Pick a Two-tier affiliate program. They are only fair. If you refer another affiliate to the merchant, you should be paid for that. Two tier affiliate programs pay you for both your sales and your referrals of other business-Like GDI. In my opinion, being paid for your referrals is essential when you have an online marketing business.

When a merchant is well known and they also have an affiliate program, the customer may buy from you the first time, and then straight to the merchant the next time, Shouldn't you be paid the second time? My Network Marketing Experience

Direct Marketing

I joined my first networking program around 1982. I was a regular at the post office for a few years mailing thousand upon thousands of letters and post cards. I spent countless hours on the phone around the clock talking to prospects in various time zones. It was about this time I was also in SMC (non MLM) and even had a little advertising done on the radio

Somewhere during this period I was also in Watkins.(mlm) At that time the company was around 100 years old (herbs spices and gourmet) and presented it to several churches and non profits as a fund raiser.

I took the next step as a business developer about 21 years ago. I lived in a tiny town in Pa. USA. Show the plan....show the plan ...show the plan (in person) F.O.R.M. (talk about family occupation recreation and finally money) books and tapes, books and tapes, Their best products!! Grin. It was fun meeting fellow distributors in public. We would often holler out ""DOWN YOUR LEG!"" (meaning grow your business) or, "UP YOUR PV!" (pv meant product point value -more pv meant more money).

What Were Some Of The Very Important Lessons Over The Years?

+ Direct marketing relationships are based on money & products. The relationship disappears when a competitor upgrades product or lowers price. (or there is a new pre-launch announced..lol )
+ Network marketing habits based on higher motivations & emotional connections are much harder to break.

You can spend years and thousands of dollars studying various products and services only to find you've wasted your time. Your product is people. So study people. Find out how you can help them reach their dreams. Not your dreams.

People join with people. (and stay) They do not join companies. People don't care if the president of your corporation is a dedicated family man and if he has the family photos on slides to prove it. Help build people. People will build the business.
